I do very much like the functionality of it all. It does what it needs to do as far as making sure that you're an authorized user before it gives off a signal. I think that's a huge win for access control. For individuals that maybe don't want to use a biometric-centric system where it's all built into a software platform, this is a great alternative. Even for legacy systems, it's good to futureproof those type of legacy environments. Colocations within the data center universe is another potential example, or even just closets housing small racks within various businesses.

The MBX-ID is a great solution for futureproofing and maintaining another level of security within these environments, especially when paired with DIRAK's MLR series of handles. In the past I've played around with and tested versions for other companies. Of course, they went in other directions which left a hole in the market that the MBX fills, which is great. It's a really nifty solution.
